...in blog years...

Sometime next month, VFTP will celebrate its eighth blogiversary, which is a fairly long time in blog years.

But when this blog was still pink and squalling and making messes on itself*, Dustbury was already a senior at Blogger High.

*This blog is still pink and squalling and making messes on itself, but that's neither here nor there for the purposes of this post...

  1. Congrats and this seems like an opportune time to mention that I randomly plugged your name into a Google search the other day and a post from July 2006 happened to top the search results :) :)

  7. Tam, with human babies, I am happy to hold them, and don't mind if they pee on me. Now, if they poop, I immediately hand them back to Mommy.

Your blog has peed on me a time or two, but has not yet produced the poopy smell.

  8. You go lady!
You keep us on our toes and dancing.
Prolly changed a lot of sheep to sheepdogs over the years. And that's all good.

  9. But, I bet you still have that new blog smell, whereas....

    I'll stop now.

    Congrats!

    Huh?

Oh, it took me a second to realize you were talking about the old AOL homepage...

  14. Merry marsupial, I remember that crap! Whatever happened to it? ;-)

  15. Not, AOL nuked all of its members' websites, with no recourse. AOL used to have some good qualities, such as access to newsgroups and free web pages, but that's all gone now. All that is left is some email addresses and a lot of advertising.

  16. I liked AOL's easy access to newsgroups, that was the single feature I used and I used it hard on rec.motorcycles.dirt - we were a tribe there...
