...I'm all about supporting people who are working to make it go away.
This month is, of course, Kilted To Kick Cancer month; while I have not yet thrown my support behind any one team, feel free to get all hipster and get behind the winner before it's cool!
Additionally, ToddG at pistol-training.com, who really really hates him some cancer, has a fund-raiser going to support the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
Thanks, y'all!
Hm. I bet i could raise some money getting people to pay not to see me in a kilt.

Our Lodge supports a team for the American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer 3K walk in Merrillville Indiana. Been doing it for the last 4 years.

You should support my team, since I'm quite the underdog and not at all mainstream.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend the Tactical Duty Kilts from 5.11 Tactical. Excellent product and a very good price.
ReplyDeleteMy wife is a breast cancer survivor, I have flirted with prostate cancer for several years (thanks so much for the Agent Orange zoomies!). We are off again the end of this month to ride the Grand Fondo in Walla Walla, a fund raising bike ride for their cancer center. They also have a walk, a horse back ride and a crotch car ride. PLUS, sweet Walla WQalla onion sausages and local beer at the finish!

Thanks, Tam! We cannot thank everyone enough for all the support we've received. Stay safe...
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the support, Tam!
ReplyDelete(As an FYI, I'd be willing to brew a case of home brew of your choice -- Pale Ale, Amber, Nut Brown, Java Porter, etc., -- should you decide to endorse me. Will even deliver.)
Can I beg for donations for my KTKC site :) If the answer is no, please delete this.
