Ugh, 600 fps. I think I spit watermelon seeds with more velocity than that. Eyes are about all that will shoot out. Remember to account for the massive arc when aiming, like Ralphie's Daisy Red Ryder. (which I have)
I remember my 760 with real wood. Those days are long gone.

Although I am astonished at what they charge for them now - mine is so old it's in the non threatening yellow. In fact I assumed that the black and yellow was the reason they named it for a bumblebee. Got it back when EAA was selling them. A lot of fun, and so far no eyes shot out.
That's going to be my New Year's resolution, maybe.
