SIG SP2022 and Beretta 81 Cheetah, both on their inaugural range trip, and Old Faithful 22/45 on its zillionth. The Beretta and SIG will get their own posts later, of course...
(ETA: Wow, I didn't even notice that it was time to re-blacken the rear sight dots on the 22/45 with Sharpie. This will be the third application, but I guess the first two doses did their trick in helping me work on a hard front sight focus.)
No words on how you like the new Sig? Or did I miss that?

ReplyDelete:)
Remember to yell out in Cantonese when shooting the Beretta!
ReplyDeleteShootin' Buddy
Cheetah oh yes, I have one from when Gander priced it used at $200 and sat it in the case. I was standing there and about tore the glass out getting it!
ReplyDeleteSometimes they [Gander] will price something really wrong.
Competence, the Mount of Geese ain't got it.
ReplyDeleteNice ones, looking forward to the updates...
ReplyDeleteTam, how do the different grip shapes/sizes/angles affect a good shooter (any of your competition friends, say, or you?) when one swaps from a 22/45 to your other guns and back?
ReplyDeleteInsignificant, noticed, requires correction, screws up half a mag before settling in, misses barn?
I switch from a Glock 19 to a 22/45 at the range once in a while and notice it - but it seems to fall within my existing large groups at any distance over 7 yards.
Just interested in what better shooters say.
