Guns don't kill people, crazy knife-wielding maniacs do.

  2. Not a "Gun Death" so it doesn't count!

China has lower "Gun Death" than America, so China is obviously safer!

Also if guns were as illegal as murder, nobody would be murdered with guns!

  3. The good citizens of Kunming are obviously missing the absence of the Flying Tigers.

  4. Import a Gurkha from India - that'll show 'em!

  6. Little uncomfortable about things like this; on the one hand "look! We were right all along!" on the other, that's exactly what the blood-dancers say when someone goes ape.

  7. armedlaughing, since the Hans have done all they can to exterminate the race that brought us the Gurkha, I don't think that's an option.

Plus I don't think Gurkha play well with commie sheep.

Four suspects were shot to death and one arrested- and he'll no doubt get his bullet in short order. That's FIVE gun deaths....

What? What do you mean they don't count if the the Governmnet does it?

  14. Saw this a bit ago on CNN. They mentioned early on that the attackers were from northwestern China. I kept reading to see if they'd disclose what I knew that meant. They kept dancing around it--it's a troubled province with native separatists who resent Han domination, etc.

Not until the VERY end of the article--last damn sentence--did they mention that the natives there are Muslim.

China has plenty of oppressed minorities--Tibetans, Mongols who will beat up ethnic Chinese who get uppity with them (knew one and heard his stories), but it only seems to be this minority that commits attacks like this...

  15. The last time they had a knife attack that was publicized we had Sandy Hook a day or two later.

  18. Once again the religion of peace...or not peace by Orwellian definitions.

"Uighur minority...The Uighurs are a Turkic people who mostly follow milder traditions of Sunni Islam."

    As seen here : http://tinyurl.com/q3onk5n

FWIW, guns did not stop the attack, although they did end it.
