"I like the Subie and all, but oh you kid." |
I haven't been in such a good mood since before the side of my nose started bleeding uncontrollably. I love this car so much. I love you guys. I'm even sorta okay with the world at the moment.
I can go back to being surly and misanthropic tomorrow.
.
Go find a twisty road and floor it.
ReplyDeleteThat should put a grin on your face.
;)
thought it might be a zombie post. damn.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Easter!
ReplyDeleteNot even a shaken fist towards the sky? Hoosier Weather™ isn't really cooperating with the top down conditions.
ReplyDeleteHurrah!
ReplyDeleteParty like a rockstar! Minus the uncontrollable vomiting and the beating of the paparazzi.
ReplyDeleteMost fun you can have is a windey road on a sunny day feeling the breeze.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the roller skate is back on the road. Have all the fun you safely can.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Ed.
I'm jealous. I've gotten as far as buying an engine stand and a short length of 6x6 steel tube to fabricate into a mount adapter but that is all the progress I've made on the Alfa Spider.
ReplyDeleteI got sidetracked when I managed to completely empty the .50 cal ammo can of .45 reloads that was full as of March 2013.
May smilepalooza continue for a good while. You've paid some dues of late.
ReplyDeleteNo no....
ReplyDeleteBeat the paps all you want.

Woo Hoo... :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the Subie was wonderful in the snow, but on a dry road there is no comparison. Congratulations. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI understand exactly how you feel. I bought my new Buell last fall and giggle everytime I go for a ride.
ReplyDeleteNah, take your time. ;-)
ReplyDeleteZed's not dead.
ReplyDeleteNothing like tennis-shoes at the start of spring when you've been wearing clodhopper boots all winter.
ReplyDeleteI have memories that can relate. When I was stationed in (formerly) West Germany in the mid-70's, our Small Arms Repair section had one of these...

...which I became quite comfortable driving in German traffic. When my tour was up, I returned to my dad's place in the Oakland, CA hills and to my lonely BMW 2002, which was stored there while I was overseas. Weber carb, header, Bilstein shocks, springs (of some sort), 320i rims (I think) and tires to match, anyway you get the idea. It felt like traffic was moving in slow motion. As I recall, it was 3 months before anyone would ride with me.
That's great. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe Z3's engine sound is so sweet that the BMW engineers decided that they should put in a special pipe to get more of it back into the passenger compartment.
ReplyDeleteFew things can compare to the joys of a nicely setup roadster.
ReplyDeleteengine in the front, power to the back, a slick manual in the midddle, and a rag top over head (hey I live in Michigan, I dont expect to be able to put the top down)
enjoy it, and add some global warming will ya?
Good for you missy!
ReplyDeleteGerry
Drive it like a rental -- and come back alive.
ReplyDeleteM
Aw! We love you too. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYannow, if you bought a 911, you could rename this place: "View From the Porsche".

Didn't Tam once own a 924?
ReplyDelete... or am I thinking about someone else?
At various times in the past I have had a '79 924 and an '87 924S.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so "View from the Rearview Mirror from the (former) Porsches".
