  4. Ahahaha! Mammal-normative, cis-bunny speciesist! All animals are equally cute and fuzzy with culturally-competent norming.

    That said [spoiler alert !1!!], there's something wrong with a person whose heart doesn't break a little when the poor velveteen rabbit is consigned to the sack of rubbish and tossed into the shed.

  6. Then there's "bunnyduck", which was the product of a bunny and a duck that fell in love.
    I saw a book mock-up, or whatever you call it, with illustrations, 25 years ago, but nothing since.

    The Velveteen Toad and the others suggested here could become part of a collection of Addams-esque children's stories in the same vein as Politically Correct Bedtime Stories by James Finn Garner.
