I don't know. Having been in and through NJ several times (fun fact, the state nickname is actually the Garbage State), I wonder what exactly would be left if all the garbage washed out to sea? Corrupt politicians, dirty police officers and a few lousy casinos? On the plus side, there's Donald Trump. Hmm.
Why is it the rest of the US hasn't seceded from NJ yet, anyway?
As a former NJ resident, born and raised, my rebuttal is as follows; yeah, it's the fourth smallest, kost densely populated state. There's not as much Garden left as there once was either. But it still has a lot of cool places and people! That said, I joyfully reside in TX now where most of my rights are not restricted and buying a handgun is as easy as buying a major appliance. Also, NJ and TX share the fact that their Governators are assclowns.
As a portly fellow...I have to say:
ReplyDeleteDat's cold!
:-)
ew. Imagine having that wrapped around your neck.
ReplyDeleteGiven the choice between that and drowning in NJ garbage...I'd need a moment to think about it.
Tell RX she owes me a new keyboard!

Shrimp,
ReplyDeleteI thought they called it the "Garden State" because "Toxic Waste Dump State" didn't fit on the license plates...
(Oldie but goodie)
Hot air does eventually cool, I'm jus' sayin'...
ReplyDeletegfa
You know why California has all the lawyers and New Jersey has all the toxic waste?
ReplyDeleteNew Jersey had first choice.
