Poor oppressed jocks.

I can honestly say I've never been hungry enough to stuff big chunks of frozen crustacean down my trousers, so I probably shouldn't judge. Then again, it doesn't look like he's missed any meals lately.

Speaking of jocks, our Replacement Peyton here in Indy seems a likeable enough young lad. I especially like the neckbeard and goofy grin that, combined with the Stanford diploma, lets you know that he's not just an NFL quarterback, but he's also an 8th level elven fighter/magic user.

  2. Winston doesn't think the rules/laws apply to him, after all he got away with Rape... Why should he worry about a little thing like theft...

  3. I'd think you'd be a fan of college players working to get something close to their market value. :) Not sure unionizing is the best way to do that, but they haven't had much success with anything else.

  5. We desperately need a PSA about feeding the starving college jocks.

    Can we get Sarah McLaughlin to sing some really sad song in the background?

  7. Luck seems to be a neat guy. Watched him when he was at Stanford.

    I will never forget his draft year when every talking head on ESPN referred to the "Suck for Luck Sweepstakes"

  8. Athletic ability +10, Wisdom -9.

    That $32 worth of crablegs could cost him millions in the long run.

    Stupidity SHOULD be painful.

    I put a pair of distance-runners through UT, and the biggest expense through those years was keeping 'em fed. Don't believe their coaches, etc. would have held still for shoplifting, especially food.

  11. Considering all the perks College athletes get, this action is even less comprehensible than the news I recall from the 60's when Hedy Lamarr was arrested for shoplifting in Beverly Hills.

  12. Learned something new today.

    TNB = "typical n***er behavior."

    Emdfl = "classless feckwit."

    I have never in my life read a story of a man, black or white, stealing lobster by shoving it in his pants. For that reason alone I find it hard to see how anyone could see such an act as being "typical " of any racial group.
