Fifty rounds of Geco 124gr FMJ ammo, no malfunctions. The total is now at eight hundred and fifty rounds. (Don't bother counting, that's only twenty holes. I let four other shooters each try a mag of ten, so that's me and somebody else's work there.)
.
I bought some of that Geco ammo from AIM Surplus. Makarov, .380 and .38 special. Haven't fired any of it yet, glad to see it performs well.
ReplyDeleteGlad it keeps eating whatever you throw at it! :-)
ReplyDeleteEmbrace the little lizard. It works well and runs just fine in my 226's and 92FS. That it approximates my EDC 124+P Golden Sabers is all the more comforting. Modestly priced and perfectly functional. What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteI recall buying Geco many years back, I mean during the "Ban" years. Still have a couple boxes of it laying about...ran me about 6 a box back then. Was told by several people it functions well in selectively fired guns, but I have yet to be that lucky.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen it for sale in many years.
That's a much improved target. The Shooter Tutor I just had "WRONG" in all the yellow pie sections.
ReplyDeleteLove Geco. I have a stash from about 10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI old stuff was bi-metal jacket. I was ask to stop shooting it at an indoor range as it was sparking on the backstop.
