STI 2011 |
2011s are pretty cool, if not really my personal cup of blood and brimstone. Larry Correia is a
huge fan, if you couldn't tell from reading some of his books. I've toyed with the idea of building one chambered in 9x25 Dillon with a pink frame because it would be a great wrongness.
.
I could make you some custom engraved pink pearl grips for it.
ReplyDeletewith gold controls.
ReplyDeleteAnd it would destroy any hearing you have left.
ReplyDelete9x25 Dillon is awesome regardless of the launching platform.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone could be taken seriously with a pink Government Model, it would be you or maybe Kathy.
And then get a pink polymer lower AR--maybe with a 300AAC upper! Now we just need a shotgun option and you could win every 3 gun match ever just by forcing the competition to throw their arms up and say "NOPE."
ReplyDeleteI have a strange desire for a doublestack 7", otherwise original 1911 setup (not A1)...
ReplyDeletein 7.62 x 25.
(Well, maybe better sights - the Yost-Bonitz Retro would bee sweet.)
That would be soooo wrong.
ReplyDeleteSo I assume you are doing it?
Do you think you could get sequins to stick on the slide?
ReplyDeleteYou'll love an STI. You can Dremel the plastic grip, make it fit your hand, stipple it and easily ruin it in many ways - then buy a new grip frame, screw it on and start all over. Mine makes me look like I know how to shoot. Larry Weeks
ReplyDelete"a great wrongness" is understated wit at its finest.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of 9x25 Dillon before. So I take it that's what .357 Sig wants to be when it grows up? XD
ReplyDeleteNo, Rob, what the .357SIG wants to be when it grows up is loved.
ReplyDeleteIf by 9x25 Dillon you mean .45 ACP, and by pink you mean parkerized, then hell yeah. 'Murica !!
ReplyDeleteBecause racegun.
