I think I was mesmerized by the raised red dot cycling on the slide. You know it had to be faked because there's no way that the metal-like-substance used in Hi-Points could have held up to that!
Hell, looking at the image, I thought it was a Jennings .22, and I was all, cool!, wait, how do I get that thing out of my pocket? Man, first impressions can be entertaining, sort of.
Sooooo, in other words, they removed all the Hi-Point parts and put in hi-quality custom parts.
ReplyDeleteHowever you can achieve the same results by purchasing a Hi-Point. Throwing it away and go and buying a custom gun that works for you.
Brilliant marketing.
My head hurts now.

ReplyDeleteNot raceguns, but they aren't the trash you think they are.
Not my first choice, but still.
Mr. B,
ReplyDeleteI probably have a metric shitload more trigger time on Hi Point/Stallards than you think I do. ;)
*That* is clearly not an operator's gun.
ReplyDeleteIt does not have a bayonet mounted, nor any provision for a bayonet to be mounted.
Cheers. :D
I'm waiting for that technology to become affordable enough for my Lorcin.
ReplyDeleteI love the slide disasembly.
