Bicycled to Kroger up on 86th Street as planned. On the way there, I stopped in for a spot of lunch at
Public Greens...
Chicken tenders (thigh meat, buttermilk soak, flour dredged and
deep-fried) in the bowl on the right. The bowl on the left has a
delicious cold salad of tomatoes, watermelon, scallions, parsley &
mint, feta, and farro, drenched in basil vinaigrette. Local Folks Hot
Sauce for dippin' chickin. Nice cold water to drink.
I pedaled extra hard for the next 7.5 miles to make up for it.
