Ten minutes ago I was sitting on the porch, turning the last page (literally) of the book I was reading and wondering what I was going to do to keep myself amused for the rest of the day, when a DHL van pulled into the driveway. The driver hopped out and asked "Tamara?"
"Yo." I raised my hand.
"Package from Amazon."
What absolutely perfect timing!
Looks like an interesting read. Have you read his other book? "Stealing Jesus: How Fundamentalism Betrays Christianity"
ReplyDeleteI may pick them up and read them later. I'd do it now, but right now I'm finishing up my vacation. I have a strict vacation rule: escapist fiction only.
A little known fact, Tam and Goober Pyle have alot in common. They both respond with the phrase "Yo!" when addressed.
