Okay, that's a little over the top.
Brazilian housewife Rosanita dos Santos was convicted of drugging her husband in his sleep and stabbing him to death, which is all fairly routine and not especially newsworthy. It was what she did next that launched her into the headlines:

Reminds me of the story I heard from a guy who was a Border Patrol cop down in Laredo. He told me he used to visit with a little old lady selling tamales on the Mexican side and one day she was gone. The next day she was in the paper for having killed her husband and turned him into tamales.
