I need a list of advertisers in The Tennesseean...

...so I know where not to shop.

  1. I clicked on the link, and it came up as a 404. Maybe they took it down? I also tried to click on the link in the actual Tennessean database, and THAT came up as a 404.

Way to give people more of a reason to not register their weapons.

Not that it matters to me from a newspaper buying standpoint. The closest I come to reading their little rag is seeing the headline in the vending machine as I walk into my office each morning.

  3. "Way to give people more of a reason to not register their weapons." I made that exact comment to Bredesen's office, after suggesting that the data be made private.

  4. It's more effective to call the advertisers and tell them that you're going to stop buying things, than simply stopping.

If you just stop shopping there, they won't know why, and they won't have any reason to stop advertising in the Tennessean.

  5. I wonder how many gun stores they have to sift through to find the obligatory anti-gun quote from a gun owner?

  6. "This page has been removed"

    That was quick.

  7. It was dumb when the Roanoke Times did it. What the hell made The Tennesseean think it would be any smarter if *they* did it?
