OK, they ARE a little more work than the self-contained, metallic shell-firing breechloaders... but they are a lot of fun. If you ever get the chance, go watch them in action at the North-South Skirmish Association's Spring or Fall National Shoot (Winchester, VA.); the folks that use them in the carbine match can really demonstrate why they were so popular. The N-SSA bulletion boards also have a wealth of information on loading and shooting them.
Oh Please tell me it is a POS and not worth a dime. I have been lusting for one for a while now....my bank account begs you.
