yes he is dead and i feel sadness and empathy for his family's loss.
of course the story of his death is far from dead;
one can only wonder at the speechwriting and jockeying for eulogical position that is going on now among the pretty heads who want to avenge the rotten onair ad-libs on the day of russert's death...you say they were just being human, emotional, and real?
right, just wait and see the spit and polish as "the only (other) ones"...as in "we're the only ones that own this f'n airspace so we're gonna preempt the news and crises of the world to do proper homage to tim so that you people can see that we are so much more than just an incidental even irrelevant supplier of simple information, we are in fact the very embodiment of the first amendment and are empowered to edit, filter, digest, and disperse for ya'll to do what we tell you to, i mean, what ya'll decide to do...
I am hoping Olbermann gets the spot. Not that I bear any real animus towards the show Meet the Press, but it'd be hysterical watching it crash and burn as shrieking Keith destroys the brand.
In the past their has been scuttlebutt on J$ about a feud between the talent on MSNBC. Here’s hoping the empty chair at meet the press will cause open civil war.
this week's nbc evening news is planned around "remembering tim russert", two days of "coming together in dc to remember tim russert" (no kidding), and next week a retrospective "remembering remembering tim russert"...
they said tim died from a sudden fatal heart event...well, yeah, no shit...then they put up the big block numbers 850...that's how many Americans die every day from "sfhe" just like tim...where's their f'n retrospective? jtc
hyuk! hyuk!
