I own a Model 94 (made in 1973) which I purchased from a squaddie. It was a case not of finding a rifle, but of it finding me.
It is as sexy as a Thermos bottle, but just as handy.
I have no truly utilitarian reason for owning it; and yet, I will never sell it. I could simply trade it for, say, two SKSs or one AK, which are arguably more utilitarian carbines. On principle, however, I refuse to part with a rifle designed by St. John in order to acquire one designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov or Sergei Simonov.

Yep. I wish I could get my hands on those. I wouldn't change a thing. Just clean 'em and oil 'em good and make safe queens out of them.
