Overheard in the Office...

Me: "I just went with the regular old yellow squash instead of springing for the organic kind."

RX: "The organic kind just means it had crap in the fertilizer..."

Me: "Yeah, I figured I'd save money, go with the bug spray and keep people's feces off my veggies."

RX: "It's usually from animals."

Me: "Well, that makes it okay then."

  1. If you wanted your veggies with human excrement on them, get the stuff tended by illegal immigrants or actually imported from third world hellholes..... oh, wait... that doesn't leave a whole hell of a lot of fresh veggies from the store.... guess you'll have to raise yer own.....

  2. N,P,and K are N,P,and K, but you're a quick study about the difference between "organic" and regular produce. The "organic" is just cheaper is all, because most often the 'fertilizer' is something others want to get rid of.
