Day Two...

Still no unicorns. Also, Barack has not brought me a new battery for my car. I'm starting to wonder if this was all a scam...

  1. Now that's funny. I had the same thought...

  2. Hmmm... will have to double-check to see if he made my mortgage payment and topped off the truck's fuel tank.

  3. I fully expect both my vegetable and flower gardens to be just fine after a night of 25 degrees worth of Algore's Global Warmening last night, here in sub-tropical central Florida. The warmth of The Messiah's love will surely save them.

Ok, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Word verification is trying to tell us something: sessessi

  4. Hey, raising the sun took more out of Obama than he realized.

Tomorrow he'll get to the other things.

  5. Do I still have to worry about paying my bills, and filling the sled with gas, or is he going to come and do it for me?

If I help him he is going to help me right?

  6. I was hopeful yesterday, my cell was already working better going over Skull Creek Pass, so figured all was improving already. Imagine my disapointment when I heard the markets were going down,..somehow,...yesterday,....

  7. I'm in the same boat. My work van needs a new wheel bearing badly, and my wife needed the family van today, so I drove the farm truck to work. Where was my limo ride chauffeured by That One Himself?

Do you need a new battery or just to have it charged up? A battery charger is a fabulous thing to have around and they're not too expensive. You can use it to do electrolysis to clean rusted parts.

  8. With the Roseholme stable of vehicles, a trickle charger is probably a good idea on general principles.

  9. My hand to Gawd, I came across a video back in August in which a YouTube "pundit" was declaring that B.H.O. would be gettin' us all new Benzs to drive. (Hey. It's one thing to give away Billions And Billions of dollars worth of money that doesn't exist; the least he could do is buy American!) I wish I had bookmarked it for the comic value.
Now, I know that you're driving a BMW, but perhaps a switch? I mean, since they're free now, and everything?

  10. I won't keep house without a trickle charger, and I'm beginning to realize that I need a jumpstarter on board, as well.

  11. Hah! I got my unicorn via UPS today. Granted, it was just a sculpture of a horse, with a cone-shaped paper drinking cup stuck to its head, and I think that it might have been sculpted out of manure, but at least I got something out of the election.

  12. Ogod, what was 2nd prize, TWO Benzes? BTDT, no thank you. However, they do have a plant in Alabama.

The messianic remark about no mortgage or car payments only had me going for a minute. I suddenly remembered that I'd had neither since George The First. Boy, a lot of unicorn-wranglers are going to be mightily pissed when they find out what Property Tax means...

I pay more in real estate taxes now than I ever owed for rent or house payments before I owned it all. I'm, like, the Forgotten American here. No deductions.
