  6. Happy new year! One of the nice things about not drinking is I've been up, alert, and feeling fine for six hours now. Hope you feel bestest soones.

  7. Propping oneself up on coffee usually works.

    That or another beer.

Looking forward to another good year of snark from you, too!

  8. You could hedge your bets and put Bailey's in your coffee! I reckon you'd end up feeling better one way or the other. Happy New Year all the same.

  9. Happy New Year

I just got out of bed.

Question of the day: How does a Vegan (Tofuista) that does not drink alcohol nor use drugs get a hangover?

    :-)

  12. I blame spending the night before last split between three houses, trying to keep pipes from freezing and up every three hours to empty pot underneath the pipe that did freeze and burst for the sleeping in today. It had nothing to do with the apple brandy. Really.

Hope it's a great year for you!

  14. We took your constant advice to visit the range. After 200 rounds through the Jericho, 600 rounds through the Walther P22 and 100 rounds through the 1911, 150 rounds through the evil black rifle, as well as an evening spent in front of the fire cleaning guns and watching The Two Towers, I have to say that we started this new year right. More enjoyable the fact that all of this activity was accomplished in the the SF Bay area (San Jose) at a county owned and run range with no hassle walking from the parking lot to the range. I'm sure that Feinstein shed a tear, but both my wife and daughter had huge grins. Happy New Year!!!!
