Punking out.

Shooting indoors today. Had my share of frostbite for the week, thanks.

  1. Enjoy your shoot!

Today here was pretty nice (85F), but starting to get humid. The forecast for our whole week is nice too (88F max)... so I'm hoping that your weather will start to warm up a bit.

I'm planning to get to the range (outdoors, in an old quarry) tomorrow morning.

  2. This is a morning when happiness REALLY IS a warm gun. I've shot in weather like this, and I've often thought one of the coolest movie taglines in the world would be "Don't piss me off. I'd shoot you just to warm my hands on my gun"

  3. Indoors? What about all the cold weather/low temp testing we all expect from bloggers who have chosen to live in such extreme climes? Get out there! I wanna hear about reliability! i wanna hear about presentation from beneath layered clothing! I wanna read about penetration rates of multiple overcoats, tactical capiline, shooting from an inside pocket, affects of temperature on ballistics and terminal performance...all that shit.
God is doing his part. Gun Blogdom expects you to ugluk-up and do yours! Blue lips are not an excuse!

  4. Sounds fun. There is one indoor range near me. The problem is that every time I give in and go I'm reminded of why I don't shoot at indoor ranges. I inevitably end up with a headache and feel like crap for the rest of the day.

  5. Yeah, after I realized I had a first-time shooter in the lane on either side, I told Shootin' Buddy and Bobbi "No rush; y'all keep shooting and have fun, but I've been lasered about enough for one day..." and milled about the store after only putting about 100 rounds downrange...

  6. Tam, the Lightworker has just called for a new Declaration of Independence.

That ought to warm (burn) you up.
