Schism.

Today is the day when heretical Reformed followers of John Moses Browning celebrate His birth. We Orthodox types celebrate on the correct day, which is the 23rd.

  1. I must ask, because I don't know. What are the differences between Reform JMB followers and Orthodox JMB followers?

Do reform followers use Wilson magazines?

  2. Reform members carry High Powers/P35s.

Orthodox members carry 1911s and 1903s.

Ultra Orthodox members carry every single gun he invented. They do not get out much as the weight of so many firearms leaves them stranded in their gun rooms.

  3. Range Trip! I have the 23rd off and am only 20 minutes from the NRA range. Let's check the ol' range bag:
1911? Check and Check (.45 and Super .38)
    Colt Woodsman? Check
    Winchester 1894? Check
    Winchester 1895? Check
Auto 5? Che... damn! Can't use it on the NRA range.
Well, that's still enough to honor St. John of Ogden (PBUH).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for I am armed by John Moses Browning.

  11. Woo!

Gonna have to put a reminder in my Outlook Calendar to wish my rainbow-farting tofu-eater co-workers a happy John Moses Browning Day on Friday.

  12. Orthodox can never mix ball with wadcutter, or even semi-jacketed hollow points. And you have to keep a separate set of magazines and cleaning rods for each.

    FWIW, I'm celebrating Friday.
