Would this be inappropriate laughter?

I laughed out loud when I got to this part:
She told CNN she does not understand how prosecutors can try her granddaughter as an adult.
"I want (people) to know that my little granddaughter, she is a loving person."
Well, yes, ma'am. That's what they're charging her with, actually.

  1. She "loved not wisely but too well."

  2. The grandmother, who doesn't look forty, also had this to say:

"...people shouldn't sit and judge people..."

Lady, can you guess how you led your granddaughter toward this kind of mess in the first place?

    Ewwww.

  3. I get so sick and tired of families covering for their criminal children. For example: "If you knew my boy, you'd know he wouldn't hurt a fly." Yes, ma'am. But we're arresting him for HOMICIDE, not FLYICIDE. Please play again.

Every time some lowlife is arrested for robbing a bank, or killing a businessman while robbing his store, or raping a young girl kidnapped at a bus stop, you can depend on some family member stepping up and saying "But he's a good boy! He'd never do anything like this!"

Which to me is the first indication that the sonofabitch is guilty as hell, and that the family is fully and completely aware of it -- and probably complicit in it in some way, too.

  5. "But asked whether she had any advice for others, she said, 'Pay attention to your kids. If you're a grandparent, pay attention to your grandchildren, because you never know what they're up to. This is a big mess, and that's what it is.'"

    Well, that's a fact.

Watch those kids like they're mastermind criminals. Because if you don't watch out, they will be.

  6. Literacy is dead.

The proper term is "madam," not "pimp." :)

  7. And her 13-year-old sister misses her. Heck, little sister's lucky she wasn't pimped out by big sis. That's assuming she wasn't...

  8. "The proper term is "madam," not "pimp.""

I thought that depended on the venue, and not on the gender of the... er... whoremaster.

Goes to show how up I am on the lingo...

  9. Tam, better not call a male pimp "Madam".
