Wikiwander.

I wish I could remember how it started, but it went through the dwarf mammoths of Saint Paul Island and wound up with the Balearic Island Cave Goat, which may be the awesomest name for a critter this side of "chupacabra".

  2. The cave goat certainly sounds like the sort of thing that Mulder and Scully would have argued over.

  4. "Dwarf Mammoths"!

    Is that like "Jumbo Shrimp"?

Cave goats look pretty ordinary despite their cool cognomen. As opposed to these tragic results of human genetic tampering:

  5. I do that all the time. The convoluted trail of topics you can peruse through Wiki can be downright strange.

  6. RE: Staghounds' link, they really, really need to milk those girls...

I really expected a breed of critter with "Balearic" in it's name to be somehow associated with slings...
