But NASCAR is about a lot more than just racing cars. It's as much about what you give back off the track as you give on the track. It's about what you're doing to protect our environment and help America become energy independent -- using solar energy, and working to offset carbon emissions...
I'm surprised he didn't claim that NASCAR was also about health care reform and a two-state solution in the Middle East. But mostly NASCAR, like everything else, is about Barack.
(...and, much like the planned Obama economy, NASCAR uses restrictor plates.)
Does that mean the NFL is about more than points and bowl games, but also about exercise?
ReplyDeleteThe NFL is about bipartisanship and health care reform, as well as carbon credits.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I thought it was about beer and hot wings.
ReplyDeleteI'd tell you to go flag yourself at the whitehouse.gov's finking page, but they seem to have taken it down. :D
ReplyDeleteI thought NASCAR was about crass capitalism at 200 mph.
ReplyDeleteMuch like the planned Obama economy, NASCAR uses restrictor plates.
ReplyDeleteObama also speaks in circles, much like a NASCAR track.
ReplyDeleteNot one of my better ones, but it's still early.
ReplyDelete...and they both only turn left.
ReplyDeleteDang. I was going to say, 'Hey, Obama is just like NASCAR; restrictor plates, go fast, and turn left constantly!"
ReplyDeleteBeat me to it in the aggregate.
WV: dangra. Indeed.
But you can't go left in General Pinochet's Cadillac....
ReplyDeleteClearly ice hockey is all about stewardship of our timber resources and seeking nonviolent solutions to personal disagreements ...
ReplyDeleteOh, wait.
...it's also about reversing global warming and peace between the world's religious peoples.
ReplyDeleteIf NASCAR is about anything it's not fuel economy or the environment.
ReplyDelete1k+ horsepower V8s are not fuel friendly.
That guy is so stuck on himself it's unreal.

ReplyDeleteInsofar as reporting anti-Obummacare types, it seems you can still do it.
Also very NASCARy, "If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'." that aptly describes the Alinsky Axelrod Administration view of restrictor plates.
ReplyDeleteSome has 'em, some has holes drilled in 'em, and some has bottled nitrous plumbing hidden in the frame.
Holy crap, Tam is on this morning!
ReplyDelete"restrictor plates" "turn left", yow!
WV: "mobfu" -- The art of controlling a mob. You know who's got it.
The current administration is starting to resemble the Spaceballs.
ReplyDeleteJim
NASCAR is about rednecks clinging to guns and religion. Glock sponsors a car in one of the lower series, and what other sporting event opens with a prayer, every time?
ReplyDeleteOn this morning?
ReplyDeleteNo, she was on the morning of the 19th, when she gave us a preview of the script.
working to offset carbon emissions
ReplyDeleteWhy, it was just last year NASCAR switched to unleaded racing gas. Carbureted V8s on open headers are certainly known fuel sippers.
Don't forget, the teams probably burn less fuel getting to and from the races than Nancy Pelosi on a fact finding junket! Yep, really helpin' out here!
I dropped the local paper after it took a hard left turn; they tried to use the word "diversity" as many times as possible per issue. The final straw was when they managed to cram it into an article about NASCAR.
