Given the mauling he and his congressional minions have been taking at the hands of the Gray Panthers, the news that
Obama's approval ratings have slumped below the halfway mark in God's Waiting Room should come as no real surprise.
According to a new Quinnipiac University poll of Florida voters, the president's approval rating now stands at 47 percent in the Sunshine State, while 48 percent of voters there disapprove of the job he is doing.
He does even worse in the Rasmussen poll, which is generally the most accurate. They only poll likely voters, and have him dropping like a stone.

ReplyDeleteThe scorpion wished to cross the river, but could not swim, so he asked the frog to carry him across.
The frog was hesitant at first, worried that the scorpion would sting him. But the scorpion finally cajoled him, telling the frog that doing such a thing would be foolish, as they would both drown.
So the frog took the scorpion up on his back and began to swim to the other side of the river. Half way across, the scorpion stings the frog.
"Why would you do such a thing?" asks the frog. "You have doomed us both."
"You knew what I was when you found me."
I'm starting to think we're the frog.
