Set the controls for the heart of the sun...

Straight from the horse's mouth, here's the video of the cat with the gat, in all his wookie-suited glory.

Yeah, he's a little crazy, but it's the right kind of crazy.

  2. Not crazy, he got police buy-in before the stunt. And I'd say he got noticed, so as a tactic it was brilliant. As for strategic value? Wait and see. The biggest accomplishment so far was to get the media to overreact.

Every time they overreact, they alienate a few more people.

  3. Colour me uncool and out of the know, but WTH do you mean, "wookie-suit?"

  4. i gotta say, he's smart, cool, calm, collected. Doesn't laugh at his own jokes. Kind of a guy I'd like to have for a friend.

  5. You mean most of your friends aren't like this already? I know I'm like... er, I mean... most of my friends are like this.

  6. I read an article yesterday on CNN that had me laughing. They interviewed an SS officer and he informed the "reporter" that he was aware of all of the people in the parking lot that had guns and they were not concerned in anyway for the POTUS' safety. He said that anywhere the Pres was was .gov property and that guns were not allowed inside. OUTside, however, he couldn't care less so long as the local laws were upheld.

Really? You know this obscure(d by clouds) hippy music?

  8. There is another side to this story that is bothering me.

The CNN reporter on the street said he saw a white man with a AR-15 shouting anti-Obama slogans. There is no proof or photos of anybody else with a rifle.

I am wondering if CNN is making crap up to feed the "racist gunnut" meme?

They have been caught faking gun stories before.

  9. I have to admit, seeing the pants-wetting-fury with which these people have responded, it makes me want to get some people together and show up lugging a (semi, unfortunately) MG-42 or an M82.

I mean, if a little tiny AR-15 sets their knees a quaking, firearms like that might make their heads spontaneously explode.

  10. And, perlhaqr, that would be a bad thing?

    Regards.
