In addition to some .22 and 9mm ammo, I snagged a Ruger Mk.III 22/45 and got a killer deal on a
H&R .32 autoloader. Also, .45ACP dies were obtained, and I got a copy of the 5th Edition of the
Standard Catalog of Military Firearms. I'll bring my old 3rd Edition to the blogmeet Sunday afternoon and give it to the first person who asks nicely.
I won't just ask nicely, I'll let you hold my gun.
ReplyDeleteMy double rifle, you pervs.
And I would be happy to pay for it as well.
Cheers on the Ruger!
ReplyDeleteI was introduced to pistol-shooting with a Ruger MkII, and my first purchase was a Ruger MkIII 22/45. The grip felt natural in my hand.
Of course, I later fired a Ruger MkII with target-competition grips that were incredibly easy on the hands.
I would love to get some of those grips.
Heh, that H&R looks looks like the kid brother to that webley T-square you have.
ReplyDeleteAnd like Webley, I never knew H&R made auto-chuckers
As a matter of fact, H&R licensed the design from Webley & Scott.
ReplyDeleteI've owned a Ruger 22/45 5 1/2 " stainless steel bull barrel target model for the last 10 odd years and love it. Much as it pains me to admitt it is used more often than my Browning Medalist.Glad you found one for yourself but word of advise, they're a pain in the rear to reassemble.
