Bleed it out, welcome to the occupation, Gallileo...
One of the neatest features of iTunes is the "Top 25 Most Played" list, since it increments its song counts every time I plug my iPod into the eMac I use for a media server. Without further ado, here are the 10 songs most often played in VFTP Command Central and the Zed Three:
Love Galileo. Also love "Hammer and nail" by the indigo girls. Most of the rest of that stuff I don't know. Guess I'm old.
ReplyDelete"Get in the Ring?"
ReplyDeleteHuh.
OK.
I've got a post about this somewhere, but if someone - anyone - else could be found to sing for Coldplay, they'd really be onto something.
ReplyDeleteJim
Owing to extreme OCD in playlist compilation, I have about 800 tracks tied for most plays (at 19).
ReplyDeleteSome of these same acts are represented in my own collection, I am either pleased or frightened to admit.
WV: "Nomataum." A latter-day Mike Oldfield extravaganza, right?
Wouldn't have figgerd you for a GNR fan.
ReplyDeleteYeah, "Galileo" is a good one - I'm more partial to "1 2 3" though.
ReplyDelete"Then you had to bring up reincarnation over a couple of India Pale Ales one day"
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm not remembering that correctly.
That makes me hopelessly square, as I've only heard of the artists and never listened to any of the songs....
ReplyDeleteEclectic :)
ReplyDeleteGalileo is a sort of misfit in that bunch, I think. It's not my fave Indigo Girls song, either; my own favorite is Southland In The Springtime.
ReplyDeleteSince no one else has said it: "Nice choice on the Nails".
ReplyDeleteTrent's evolution from blatantly angry to what seems to me as a more calm disappointment with society as a whole has been a pleasant way to grow up with his music.
What, no "They Might be Giants"?
ReplyDeleteThats no way to make a little bird house in your soul.

wv: cityllys, the cocoon that a town wraps itself in before it becomes a city.
Southland in the Springtime is my favorite by IG, too, but a little too mellow for my rowdier moods.
ReplyDeleteGallileo's good, but I was singing Hand Me Downs under my breath earlier today...gotta break out those CD's again tonight...

ReplyDeleteBoris - glad to see someone else who likes the evolution of Trent. Of course, The Fragile came out right as some friends were starting to spawn, so it made great music to rock a baby to sleep...
ReplyDeleteTam, nice list! I don't know the Uncle Kracker song, but given your tastes, I'll take this as a recommendation and hunt it down!
URK.....Smashing Pumpkins?
