Oh, that's just festive...

Tonight's low? 18°F

Tomorrow's high? 18°F

How does that work? I blame Canada.

  3. Well f'chrissakes, if you don't want it, send it back up here...
    It's 50 %$#@*ing degrees here in Vancouver-
They just changed the sport designations for two of the Winter Olympic events- From Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding to Waterskiing and Wakeboarding.

We needs us some cold, and we needs it NOW!

    Cheers-

  4. Thanks for living up there, so I don't have to. Was 70 here in Texas today. But that cold front is coming in tomorrow. Rain and highs in the 50's. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Then 70's by Monday.

I thought about moving to Texas once, but y'all's CCW laws are too restrictive. :) I do miss the Big Bend country, though!

OOPS! Hit the wrong button-I'm not Anonymous. That's Toronto's forecast.

  8. 90's here in Perth. 90's yesterday, 90's tomorrow and most likely for the next few months.
Just had to rub it in a little.

  10. Today's forecast for Anchorage: high 23, low tonight 21. Current temp: 23.

I'd blame Canada, too, but there's nothing north of us except the Arctic Ocean. Must be W's fault.

  11. Just think how cold it would be without Global Warming!

  12. You ever try to tuck into your waistband a stainless .45 in an IWB that's been soaking in the cold in your truck-safe for the workday at -5F?

That's CCW in Minnesnowta when your workplace bans self-defense.

    That thing gets COLD.

  13. Here in Northern Kentucky it's got quite the chill on and it's snowing.

An hour ago I had green grass. Now, I have a moderate dusting of snow, and the car is covered.

Having just moved up here from Texas about 4 months ago, this is going to take some getting used to.

  14. Blackwing1,
maybe an insulated box, with a heating element(light bulb-turn signal/backup type). Might have to set up a secondary battery depending on how long it has to sit.

  15. Tam, that does suck.

We did it for three or four days in a row (high one day is the next day's low, or close to it). Here's what it was like here in Fargo on 23-26 January:

    23rd - high 36, low 33
    24th - high 34, low 22
    25th - high 22, low 1
    26th - high 7 (crept up a bit), low -9.

    Could be worse, eh?

One of the high points of my life was taking #2 Son to Niagara Falls, and he sang this at the top of his lungs as we walked past all the Canadian "Friendship Bridge" flags ...

  18. The bacon is round up in Canada. I don't trust'em either!

  19. Does this mean that global warming and cooling have stopped? Did Obama mistakenly freeze the climate instead of spending?

    That's why we're here :)

  21. Also it may be 8 C up here, that's 46 F, but here's the forecast :

    Today Rain
    Tonight Rain
    Friday Rain
    Saturday Rain
    Sunday cloudy
    Monday cloudy
    Tuesday Rain
    Wednesday Rain and snow!

So that's why we're not allowed to have guns!

  22. Minus 18°F here in sunny Saskatchewan this morning and it's headed your way. BTW, I highly recommend reading the Kuhnhausen S&W book before you reach for a screwdriver.

With all their beady little eyes and flapping head so full of lies?
