There is a big ol' post stuck in my head. I know that if I could just get the first few words out, the next seven hundred would spew out after them like magic.
The funny thing is, I couldn't even tell you what the topic is; there are three or four items just swirling around half-formed in my noggin, any one of which would turn into logorrhea if I could just get that first rock of the avalanche bouncing down the hill...
It's almost painful.
Step away from the keyboard slowly and go clean a tool or something. Then it will be back!

Well if you are going to dig into the Ironclads, I really like the story of the CSS Alabama, but that's just my personal preference. I look forward to your insight as always.
ReplyDeleteStop the teasing and dancing around the edges and get to the CW trilogy! You know you want to, you know we want you to, and the story of the ironclads is as good a place as any to jump in and work your way forward and back. Break the logjam, get to the logorrhea...just do it!

ReplyDeleteDo something non writing, like cook or balance a checkbook or, as Keads said, clean a tool.
I find that working with my hands or with numbers helps a lot.
And working with different senses, hence the taste and smell of cookng.
