Brrrr...
There are three Fahrenheit degrees outside, and the weatherdude said that those are all the degrees we're going to get today, and so we'd better like them.
Hey, those 3 degrees, they constitute a balmy day here... Weather . com says Fort Atkinson, WI is -6 right now, so give us our 3 degrees back! and when i fond out who took the other 3 i am going to ask for them back too! (On our way to a predicted -20 tonight!) Windchills are lower! Enjoy!
Same thing here in Minnesnowta. Low this morning was -14F, and we had 20 MPH winds all afternoon yesterday (down to 10 MPH this morning). It's warmed all the way up to...wait a minute, it's still -14.
Suppposed to drop down to -20 tonight, but lower winds.
What's here is usually in Indy in about a half-a-day to a day, so brace for what's coming.
It should be 17 here in Lower Alabama tonight, so at least we will be somewhat warmer. Cheer up though, the surface of Mars is only -22 and there are parts of the Midwest and Canada colder than that right now so maybe the little green men are on to something.
You post puts in my mind 3 degrees outside with picket signs. Marching just outside your front gate. "Their signs say "it's Climate Change Dammit" "Don't Make us Call Al" "Neener Neener".
We will have 4 of those degrees out here in moron land tonight...
Cowgirl up Tam. High today in ND is a -5. Wind chill -31. Interstate closed and no travel advised for 3/4 of the state. Eat your heart our Alaska.

You stole our degrees! We're in debt for 14 of them not counting what the wind is blowing away. My school is cancelled tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHad to do some emergency snow-mower maint this AM ... belt decided it wanted to go over the wire and paint the town red.
ReplyDeleteStupid belt.
And the stupid snow keeps falling. Will need to mow the snow again tomorrow.
At least it's a balmy 12 here in Wyberia, and none of this minus crap. I blame global warmening.

ReplyDeleteToday started off 48 degrees cooler than Saturday's high. Brisk.
ReplyDeleteMakes 29 in West Tennessee seem almost shirt sleeve weather.
ReplyDelete(Yeah, I know, "Shaddup!")

It was a chilly 58 degrees here. That bastard Al Gore needs to get moving or his "Global Worming" is going to go up in smoke.
ReplyDeleteThose poor little degrees are out their on The Porch, shivering, like a feral cat, begging to be let in.
