  5. I once had a corporal who, whenever I'd point out that what he was proposing was actually against the law, would ask me, "Matt, what's it say on our car's license plates?"

    Me, sighing, rolling my eyes: "Yeah, 'Exempt.' But that applies to registration. It's not a catch-all."

    He didn't last long. (I'm glad to say.)
