Spring is getting underway, with all the interesting atmospherics that means. In a few blocks worth of walking it was cloudy and sunny and cloudy and...
At one point I could see a bright patch of sunlight about a half-block in size moving down the gray street towards me like bad Hollywood SFX, but by the time I could get my cell out and into camera mode, I was standing in full sun.
.
Same here. We've had a few decent days for riding...but family and work issues have kept me from starting up dah Honda.
ReplyDeleteBut this weekend is looking good for an "over the hill and see you on the other side."
And pollen. You didn't mention pollen.
ReplyDeleteThe brown truck of goodness dropped off some packages on the front porch yesterday evening.
When I stepped outside to get them I tracked yellow, dusty footprints back into the house.
If you were in Puget Sound region, it would look like this:

Blue sky, bright sunshine and pouring rain.
It's not immediately evident that it's raining, but trust me, it was pouring when I took the photo.
Did you know that there are names for all the various combinations of sunlight, clouds, dust etc. Like "sundogs" ...
ReplyDeleteI always thought having names for those effects sort of ruins them for me.
Planted some flowers, which are nice, and going to wait until after Easter before planting veggies. I fear there may be one more cold snap.
ReplyDeleteMy benchmark for weird weather effects was southern FL, late 50's (Seahunt was on tv). In the afternoon, it would rain on the other side of our street. Right down the center line of the blacktop as far as you could see, rain on one side, sun on the other. Regular occurrence.
ReplyDeleteIt was 95, bright and sunny down here, and they're complaining, they want FALL to hit...
