Sorry.

Sat down to write and realized I hadn't done my morning physical jerks, which I've started taking more seriously because I don't like how flabby and out of shape I've gotten.

  4. Good for you! I've started doing the same, now that I''m past the 50% point of my life, statistically speaking. (Geez that's disturbing to see in print....) Except it's evening physical jerks which is not as smart as AM exertions.

    Lost 9 lbs recently (though mostly due to mopey lack of appetite rather than virtuous exercise), got BMI down to 20.2. Once snug pants are now loose and need a belt, which is nice. Losing upper body muscle mass was not so good. Bottom line is now I can see how people develop eating disorders obsessing about weight. We'll see how the protein bar/fiber bar/hair shirt diet works. Plus alcohol, hate and a little caffeine of course.

  6. I'm currently doing dumbbell work, as well as light cardio.

    Strength training cuts down on the amount of cardio you need. Bigger muscles burn more calories. And you look better once the fat is gone.
