Pass the popcorn...
Movie test: Does the plot revolve around using machine guns to shoot one of the following in the face?
1)Nazis
2)Zombies
3)Nazi zombies

James Garner also played an excellent role in The Great Escape.
But I still revere his role in Support Your Local Sheriff the most, for sticking his finger into the barrel of Walter Brennan's Colt Single Action, stopping the old fella from ventilating him. The line "And it wouldn't have done my finger much good either!" still makes me laugh.
Best Zombie Nazis? The dream sequence from American Werewolf in London, of course.
All found on Netflix.

ReplyDelete"Død snø" is the best Zombie Nazi film ever. If you haven't seen it, view it on Netflix... NOW!
Does this describe movies to see, or movies to avoid?
ReplyDeleteIn honor of the Late Great Korean War Veteran DOUBLE Purple Heart Awardee James Garner, I believe "Darby's Rangers" qualifies.

ReplyDelete@Bubblehead Les: Concur. ISTR that it wasn't until sometime in the '80s that he actually got his medals.

I'm going to toss in a vote for the ones in El Superbeasto.
