Boomsticks: The surgery was a success, and the patient is fine...
The Vltor CASV-EL went onto my 6.8 carbine all easy-peasy-like. Nice and light, non bulky, and every bit as rigid as I hoped for. Let the torture testing commence! :)

Tam,
So, where's the pic?
What a tease.
Yup. Gotta post pics lady.
I am new to the black rifle game and partially illiterate so pics go a long way!
Yea, hold out on the pictures - make everybody beg for them! :)
Joe R.
Yep. Pics, please. Hey, I'm not too proud to beg...
just as I thought! All the bikini clad, gun toting hotties tease me with free-floating quad rail goodness.
This post is useless without pics young 'un!
It's good to know you prefer a rigid Vltor CASV-EL.
Note to self:
1) Get batteries for camera.
2) Avoid use of word "rigid" in forearm reviews.
Immediate personal observation - laughter is NOT the best medicine...
Tam, not meaning to beat a dead horse, but would you be willing to rehash the 6.5 vs 6.8 argument?
We should just drop this 6.8 vs. 6.5 nonsense, and rechamber everything in 7.62x45 czech.
