This 'n' That

Islam is apparently like the Hotel California: Even if you were checked in by mistake, you need a court order to check out.

Although it won't pass, it is funny. (And social conservatives deserve stuff like this for torpedoing the party of Goldwater and Reagan.)

Oh, ick. Can't we like, chop off this creep's hand or something? Maybe send him to wherever we're sending suspected terrorists to get roughed up?

RE: the annul childless marriages thing: I totally agree-- serves 'em right. I also agree it won't pass I do hope it raises a big stink, though. I'll fetch the popcorn, you bring the beer.

And yeah, that nurse needs to be run out on a rail. Or on a nearby accommodating tree.

Officially there is no freedom of religion in Malaysia. According to their Constitution, all Malays are officially Muslim whether practicing or not, or even if actively practicing other religions.

It's funny how an ounce of cheap whiskey is $15 there, but a good Cuban cigar is less than $5.

The fondling is creepy. Messing with meds to facilitate fondling is major evil.

John Smiley, huh? Bet he'd be popular in the big house. He'd probably get more than a handful...

Some friends of mine and I were talking about popping down to Tacoma Mall or perhaps Southcenter to collect signatures for this little gem. After all, it's our duty to be *helpful*, isn't it?

not gonna touch the Maylaysian thing: have a Malaysian sis-in-law...

I LIKE that initiative: turn their own arguement against 'em!

That nurse, should I have been one of the patients, would have found himself holding somethng of his own (and hoping they could re-attach it)

Regarding the initiative, have these groups dropped their bigoted opposition to polygamous marriages yet? I mean, isn't it wrong for them to argue that marriage should consist of only two people?

You know me, buzz_; I think if someone wants to marry a grove of trees, it's none of my business.

As long as they're all adult, consenting trees, that is. We need to draw a line somewhere. :)

I agree, the line needs to be drawn. I just wanted to point out the tendency for groups to get rid of a line because it's discriminatory . . . only to redraw the line around themselves because anything else is just "wrong and unnatural."
