Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt that the reply King Leonidas of Sparta (about 4000 warriors defending their homes) gave to Xerxes of the Persians (accounts vary from 10,000 to one million under arms) at Thermopolaye, when Xerxes begged the Greeks surrender their arms in an act of "mercy" (more likely an attempt at expediency in conquering Greece) in the face of such overwhelming odds ...
King Leonidas is reported to have fired back with:
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ = "Come and Take Them!!"
P.S. Leonidas and all his men died for their audacious defiance, setting a high bar for glory seekers to surpass for more than two centuries.
