Beyond that, what scares the left is that Palin is guns, God and babies. Bitter and clingy Americans love that. -SayUncle
I try not to give unsolicited advice to those who are neither kith, nor kin, but it would be in the best interests of their candidate if the Democrats simply let this story die. -LawDog
With regard to the way the Lenin-Red end of the intarw3bz spectrum has behaved in the last 24 hours, well, when people force themselves to be so Excruciatingly Politically Correct for 24 hours of every day, it's shocking how misogynistic and racist they can get if you put an R after the name of a target. I haven't seen such bigoted vitriol since the Clarence Thomas nomination.
Remember kids, it's the hit dog that yelps. See ya at the polls! :)
It's always fun to see prudish, and self-important Leftist moralists without any hope of self-restraint foaming wildly and barking at the moon.
ReplyDeleteTo all the scumbags on the left I say: BRING IT.
ReplyDeleteWe now have the opportunity to see what strong women and real feminism truly look like.
but, according to that fount of evenhanded commentary, the NYT...

yeah, i bet they do have questions...like "wtf are we gonna do now?"

The left doesn't realize it's elitism is showing.
ReplyDeleteTamara,
Give me a holler. Or even break down and email me.
Best,

This is the first time I've had the pleasure of watching people on the other side whom I respected suddenly morph into the spewers of some of the most blatantly vile sexism I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteIt's been "fun".
labrat: ditto.
ReplyDeleteI was, actually, truly shocked.
To all the scumbags on the left I say: BRING IT.
ReplyDeleteWe now have the opportunity to see what strong women and real feminism truly look like.
Hear, hear!
It's NOT racism or sexism!
ReplyDeleteYou persist in refusing to accept that a person's identity as a member of a victim class disappears the moment an R appears.
Thus, Gov. Palin is technically a woman, but she doesn't speak for women or support women's issues, so dogging her out is not sexist.
Same way with race- C. Thomas, J. and Rep. Watts don't advance the cause of African Americans, so it's not racism to give them tick.
Because, like all women, all African Americans think alike and want the same things.
Same phenomenon the other way- when the 50 year old married boss is playing with the 20 year old intern, he automatically transfigures from foul pig to persecuted, fallible like all of us victim, if he's a D president.
If he's an R congressman sending emails to pages, a demon.
Sheesh, it's simple!
Huh. A Jeffersonian limpwristed attack that draws a Jacksonian iron fisted response.
ReplyDeleteNice kungfu, grasshoppers. Your collective ass will be waiting for you, outside, after we're thru with it.
Well-stated, chica. I've been smearing that stuff on crackers and snacking for two days now. delicious.
ReplyDeleteWatching the media coverage of Palin over the last couple of days has been disgusting. They are incessantly and shamelessly hatchet-jobbing her. Listening to NPR this am was basically a Palin Hate-Fest, with the NPR folks scrambling and spinning everything about Palin as negatively as possible. If the woman had found a cure for cancer, these folks would be attacking her for putting oncologists out of business.
ReplyDeleteFor me, this is having the opposite of the intended effect. I am more and more sympathetic to her and increasingly hostile to whatever the media says about her. I hope their transparent attack tactics will have the same effect on others.
My hostility to the media grows daily.
ReplyDelete"My hostility to the media grows daily."
ReplyDeleteNot to worry sir, as we'll get to rub their filthy noses in it for the next...get this, 12 YEARS!!!
Hahahahahaha!!!!
