I've been watching the California efforts toward financial insanity for a number of years. The Bushobamanomics have provided a diversion, this last couple of years, but we're seeing that all manner of allegedly rational people think that there is an unlimited pot of taxgold out there.
I'm curious to see if El Rushbo's well-publicized exit from NYC will catch on. There has been a bit of a trend already extant, and this might well be an incitement.
People seem to be becoming more aware that government does not exist for the benefit of the governed, as Heinlein said. It's the enemy of one's billfold.
