RX: "The Hayabusa? That Japanese asteroid probe you were just talking about? Apparently NASA was watching it come back."
Me: "What, to make sure it wasn't being followed?"

. . . and the first thing that popped into my head was "How the heck did they turn a WW II vintage Nakajima Ki-43 fighter plane into an asteroid probe?", shortly followed by "I guess anything is possible if you can retrieve one of the biggest battleships ever built from the bottom of the ocean and turn it into a space-battleship."

When did the Hayabusa stop being one of the butt-ugliest motorcycles to leave Japan?
Maybe NASA was worried about Space Battleship Yamato coming in behind it?

The air thinks it's very pretty. (I don't, particularly.)
Hayabusa (2 wheeled version): Form? Pfft. Function. FUNCTION.
And speaking of being followed... did you happen too catch the season finale of Breaking Bad? Might ought to.
Is the Lupine lost?
Hayabusa? Isn't that a high-end Japanese motorcycle?
Hayabusa, for those that can't find it in their J/E dictionary (it's not in mine either), translates as 'Peregrine Falcon'.

Yeah, the "Haya" in "Hayabusa" is the same as the one in "hayai" or "fast".
