There's no justice.

In a well-run universe, the quake that hit DC would have been a lot stronger than 3.6, know what I'm sayin'?

There just ain't no justice.

Hey! That would have kilt ME! It did wake me up. It felt like 2 slowplows were doing my street side by side. Or that some military arsenal 20 miles away was having a really bad day.

I was hoping for an 11 on the Bruckheimer scale!

As T-Bolt's comment illustrates; the problem is that earthquakes are too indisciminate...and the folks who NEED to be shaken up are too well insulated

Hey, I've got a major choral premiere there next month! And aren't a bunch of Very Important People out of town? Timing is everything.

Woke me up too. It felt like the spin cycle of my washing machine when it just starts up with one blanket inside. For some reason that kinda vibrates the whole house.

Now I can check that off my bucket list.

10 miles from epicenter. Dog jumped up on the bed and started barking. Thought there was someone banging on the front door.

a 3.6? Pffftt... That wouldn't even be noticed around here ;) That's just background noise level.

Just wait 'til the quake that's going to hit in November...

Roy,
Yep. South Bay, surrounded by cattle, coyotes, and Obummer lovers. (the bumper stickers on the brand new imports, the pink hair and long ponytail mark the new neighbors) oh, wait, I've got a color scale I can use! I'll have to get a look tomorrow to nail it down.
