BATFE is good for one thing: it reminds one of how fragile civil liberties actually are -- and how unresponsive are elected officials who just want a nice compliant tax farm.

'woard' -- yeah.

Looking at the L.A. Times story: what the hell is a Romo .50 cal. M.G.?

Who knows? I'll bet it has a shoulder thing that goes up, though.

What also concerns me are the NOT-elected officials. Much harder to get rid of them.

Did Thompson-RAMO-Williams (TRW) ever make M2 Brownings for the U.S. Army back in the '60s? I know they were making other Firearms during the Kennedy administration, such as the very rare Browning BLR.

Glad you laughed Tam, thanks.

RAMO started making the Ma Deuce back in the late 1970s. For those with short memories, Sabre Defence bought RAMO for their US operations. Another UK company, Manroy, has since snatched them up after Sabre's legal troubles.
