"It's not _______ when we do it!"

Is broadly painting group of people as "bigoted simpletons" not, well, a little simplistic and bigoted?

The lack of self-awareness occasionally displayed by the Smugocracy is simply stunning.

  1. I am wondering how it was wrong for Nixon to try and do what the Obummer is doing, but somehow now it is right when the Obummer does it?

  2. They're not good at apologizing for smearing innocent people, either:

  3. Irony to the left is something they express on T shirts. They don't recognize it in its wilder, purer form.

  8. That was my favorite ad on Sunday. Didn't notice the racial make up of the family, so I guess I'm racist.

    Or something.

  9. Yes, they're projecting again.

Very common amongst those with a superiority complex.

  10. I always think about these things like this, "If you want to call someone a bigoted simpleton, I'll show you a mirror."

This kind of crap is what usually gets the hair on my wookie-suit all up. Because it's things like this where people run off half-cocked, at the mouth, and then believe what they say...That stuff let's me know that, "Live and let live" will never come to pass in this world.

  16. From Francis Scott Key's 1805 version of the anthem...

    "

By the light of the Star Spangled flag of our nation.
Where each radiant star gleamed a meteor of war,
And the turbaned heads bowed to its terrible glare,
Now, mixed with the olive, the laurel shall wave,
And form a bright wreath for the brows of the brave."

Written in response to the Barbary Wars...
