I was checking out the date at Wikipedia for my Today in History post and scrolled down through the list of birthdays...
Me: "Huh. Well, happy birthday Max Planck!"
RobertaX: "Are you sure?"
Geek humor. Gotta love it.

Don't you mean:
"Today is Werner Heisenberg's birthday."
"Are you certain?"
I remeber watching a video tape in high school physics - I know, dating myself - that kept talking about Max "Plunck" and "Heesenburg".
Scarily, only one other student thought THAT was hysterically funny and we both had to do "explain ourselves" to the headmaster.
Luckily, he thought it was pretty funny too.
Anon:
You had videotape in high school?
We had 16mm film.
Absolutely we're sure-- his birthday's a constant. ;)
Now, will somebody open the box and tell me whether we need to buy cat food?
A constant? What the h?!?
Oh, geez, the last time I worried about this sort of thing I freaked out after opening a bag of M&Ms and the first 9 out of the bag were all yellow.....
Has anybody seen my cat?
The probability distribution for Planck's birthday is at it's highest value on this day.
Schroedingers cat was playing with a string "theory" over here.
now that.. is awesome. Y'all made my morning. :)
There is too much particle physics going on here. But I have to say I enjoyed the humor.
The next thing that will come up is cold fusion and the old jokes about gluon's and muon's.
It's all in the spin -- Muon.org
Joe Huffman wins the thread!
