Tuesday's Range Notes

No matter how fun an activity is, you can turn it into work. If you don't believe me, ask a porn actor. I made it to the range with the Ruger on Tuesday, but yesterday, I couldn't begin to even.

It's a joyless shooting appliance, and a lot of work to shoot well at speed. Work, I might add, that I obviously wasn't willing to expend on Tuesday. I was shooting plenty fast, alright, but the wheels came completely off in the accuracy department.

The gun itself continues to run fine. A firm grip does tend to induce the occasional BTF (brass-to-face) but that's what eye pro is for.

This brings the round count to 1,570 rounds since the weapon was last cleaned or lubricated, with no malfunctions of any type to report. Only 430 rounds left to go.
