Does Not Work That Way

At Beretta USA's webpage for their 80X Cheetah, a Common Tater* left the following...er, "review":


This isn't, of course, a thing that will happen, because the 80X is a straight blowback operated pistol with a fairly light, gracile slide, while the .30 Super Carry cartridge has a maximum SAAMI chamber pressure of something like 50,000psi. That's better than double the maximum pressure of .380ACP. 

In order to function safely, the hypothetical .30SC Cheetah would need a recoil spring that would be physically impossible to cycle by hand.
